Anycubic offers an upgraded version of the budget Photon Mono 3D printer , equipped with a monochrome LCD mask and an updated LED module.
The original Anycubic Photon served as the starting point for a whole family of photopolymer 3D printers based on LCD stereolithography (MSLA) mask technology. Essentially, the Photon Mono 2 is an upgrade from one of them, the Photon Mono 4K 3D printer.
The Anycubic Photon Mono 2 3D Printer is incredibly easy to use, with simple setup making it easy for inexperienced users to operate. With a larger working volume, higher resolution, and an upgraded LighTurbo UV source, it provides a fantastic 3D printing experience for beginners and experts alike. In addition, it is inexpensive, which makes it accessible to a wide range of users.
The mask size and resolution slightly increased - from 3840x2400 to 4096x2560 with a pixel size of 34 microns. The backlight module is an improved version of the LightTurbo rectifying LED array with a luminous flux density of up to 4.2 W / cm ^ 2 and a layer illumination time of 1.5-3 seconds. The matrix and the LED module are covered with a transparent protective screen that is scratch-resistant and has a light transmission of up to 95%.
The size of the construction area is 165x143x89 mm versus 165x132x80 mm for Photon Mono 4K . To increase adhesion with printed products, a pattern is applied to the surface of the aluminum platform by laser engraving.
Main advantages
The Anycubic Photon Mono 2 3D Printer features a 6.6-inch monochrome type LCD screen with a resolution of 4096*2560 to display the very small and detailed parts of objects.
It is equipped with a protective removable film, of impressive dimensions, to prevent resin from getting on the screen, as well as various damages.
The build areas have been increased by 20% to 165*89*143mm, practical and greatly expand your options.
Matrix (Light Turbo) also suffered improvements and upgrades from the manufacturer to provide a more stable and uniform parallel light source. Layer lines are significantly reduced, eliminating the appearance of grid lines.
Anycubic did not pass by the software either, expanding and supplementing the functionality of slicing, perforating, adding supports, as well as extracting shells.
The platform is made with laser engraving, which provides excellent flatness, as well as good adhesion.
