Polylactide (PLA) is a biodegradable and compostable thermoplastic made from renewable sources, mainly corn starch or licorice cane sugar. It is considered an environmental alternative to traditional petroleum-based plastics because it is made from renewable resources and has a reduced carbon footprint.
PLA (polylactide, PLA) is the most popular material for 3D printers due to its environmental friendliness, safety, lack of unpleasant odor and high mechanical characteristics. Polylactide 3D printer filament allows you to create dimensional models with high dimensional stability, high geometric complexity and high print resolution.
