FEP Film for Anycubic Photon Mono X, Mono X 6K, M3 Plus, Mono X2 and Mono X 6Ks 260 x 175 mm 2 pcs

FEP Film 260 x 175 mm 2 pcs is a replacement release film for the resin vat of compatible Anycubic resin 3D printers. It is designed for Anycubic Photon Mono X, Anycubic Photon Mono X 6K, Anycubic Photon M3 Plus, Anycubic Photon Mono X2 and Anycubic Photon Mono X 6Ks.

The film is installed at the bottom of the resin vat and works as a separation layer between the liquid photopolymer resin and the printed model. A clean and correctly installed FEP film helps ensure stable layer release, accurate curing and reliable LCD resin 3D printing.

What FEP film is used for

FEP film is one of the most important consumable parts in a resin 3D printer. It is placed on the bottom of the resin vat and allows each cured layer to separate from the vat surface during the printing process.

If the FEP film becomes scratched, cloudy, stretched, punctured or contaminated with cured resin, print quality may become unstable. Worn film can cause failed prints, layer separation problems, excessive release force, surface defects and possible resin leakage.

When to replace the FEP film

  • When deep scratches appear on the film surface
  • When the film becomes cloudy in the printing area
  • When dents, deformation or stretching are visible
  • When resin starts leaking through the vat
  • When layers release from the film with difficulty
  • When print failures become frequent without changes in settings
  • When cured resin remains on the film surface

Installation recommendations

  1. Turn off the resin 3D printer and remove the resin vat.
  2. Pour the remaining resin through a filter into a clean container.
  3. Clean the vat carefully with a soft cloth.
  4. Remove the old FEP film from the vat frame.
  5. Install the new 260 x 175 mm FEP film in the correct position.
  6. Tighten the frame evenly without excessive force.
  7. Check that the film is clean, flat and properly tensioned.
  8. Before adding resin, check the vat for possible leakage.
  9. After replacement, run a short test print or exposure test.

Care recommendations

  • Do not clean FEP film with sharp metal tools
  • Do not press strongly on the film surface
  • Remove failed print residues carefully
  • Do not allow cured resin to remain on the film
  • Check the film before each print for scratches, punctures and cloudy areas
  • Use soft cloths and suitable cleaning methods
  • Store spare films in a clean and dry place

Difference between FEP, NFEP and ACF

FEP film is a classic release film for resin 3D printing. It is widely used in LCD resin 3D printers and is suitable for standard printing tasks.

NFEP film usually has lower release force compared with standard FEP film and can improve printing stability for complex models. ACF film is often used for high speed resin printing because it helps reduce layer separation resistance, but it can have different optical and surface properties.

FAQ

Is this FEP film compatible with Anycubic Photon Mono X?

Yes. This 260 x 175 mm FEP film is compatible with Anycubic Photon Mono X.

Is this film compatible with Anycubic Photon M3 Plus?

Yes. This FEP film size is suitable for Anycubic Photon M3 Plus.

How many films are included?

The package includes 2 pcs FEP film.

Can I use damaged FEP film?

No. Damaged film should be replaced because resin can leak through punctures or cracks and damage the printer screen.

Does FEP film affect print quality?

Yes. A clean and correctly installed FEP film helps provide stable layer separation, accurate curing and reliable resin 3D printing.

Do I need to change settings after replacing FEP film?

Usually the same settings can be used. If layer release or adhesion changes after replacement, run an exposure test and adjust print settings if needed.
