🖤 Description
Anycubic Water-Wash Resin 2.0 Black is a practical water-washable photopolymer resin designed for users who need detailed prints, convenient post-processing and a deep black finish. It is suitable for miniatures, figurines, architectural models, appearance prototypes, display parts, decorative models and technical samples.
The key advantage of this resin is its water-washable formulation. Printed models can be cleaned with water, reducing the need for large amounts of IPA in basic post-processing workflows. This makes the resin convenient for home workshops, offices, classrooms, labs and small production environments.
Water-Wash Resin 2.0 features low viscosity, stable flow and good detail reproduction. It spreads easily in the resin vat, returns to the printing area efficiently after platform movement and helps produce accurate models with sharp edges, clean textures and reliable dimensional stability.
The black color is especially suitable for technical parts, prototypes, housings, bases, display models, miniatures, decorative pieces and models intended for priming, painting or further finishing.

💧 Cleaning and post-processing
- Before printing, shake the bottle well to evenly distribute pigments and resin components.
- Check the resin vat and make sure the bottom is clean and transparent, and the release film is not damaged.
- Pour resin into the vat without exceeding the maximum fill line.
- After printing, remove the model carefully from the build plate using a scraper.
- Remove supports using flush cutters or tweezers.
- Clean the model with water or 95% IPA depending on the selected workflow.
- Dry the model completely before final UV post-curing.
- Post-cure the model for approximately 3-5 min at 405 nm, depending on model size and geometry.
🚰 Wastewater disposal rule
Do not pour used washing water into the sewer. Water used for cleaning may contain uncured resin particles. Keep the wastewater in a container, expose it to sunlight or UV light until resin residues fully cure, then remove the solid residue and dispose of it as plastic waste according to local regulations.
🛡️ Safety precautions
- 🧤 Wear nitrile gloves.
- 🥽 Use protective eyewear.
- 🌬️ Work in a well-ventilated area.
- 🚫 Avoid skin and eye contact with liquid resin.
- ☀️ Do not leave the open bottle or resin vat under direct sunlight.
- 👶 Keep the resin away from children, pregnant women and pets.
- ♻️ Fully cure resin waste, contaminated wipes and cleaning residues before disposal.
Important: water-washable resin is still a chemical photopolymer material while liquid. It should not be considered completely safe before full curing.
📦 Storage recommendations
- Store the resin in its original tightly closed bottle.
- Recommended storage temperature: 20-50 ℃.
- Protect from direct sunlight and strong UV exposure.
- Do not store near heat sources.
- Shake well before each use.
- If resin has been sitting in the vat for a long time, stir it with a plastic scraper and filter if necessary.
