eSUN PLA-Wood Walnut is a decorative PLA-based filament with a wood-like effect, matte surface and warm Walnut shade. Walnut is a darker, richer wood tone that works well for decorative models, interior parts, souvenirs, vases, architectural models, art objects and prints that need a premium natural appearance.

Important package detail: this product card specifies the filament on a plastic spool, not a cardboard spool. A plastic spool is convenient for stable feeding, storage, reuse, dry boxes and spool holders.

Printing tip: PLA-Wood may string more than regular PLA. If hairs, oozing or strings appear between parts, reduce nozzle temperature, lower speed, dry the spool and tune retraction.

✅ 3D printer compatibility

eSUN PLA-Wood Walnut is compatible with most FDM/FFF 3D printers that use 1.75 mm filament and support a 210–235 ℃ nozzle temperature range. It can be used with Creality Ender/K1, Bambu Lab A1/P1/X1, Prusa, Anycubic Kobra, Elegoo Neptune, Sovol, QIDI, Flashforge and other popular 3D printers.

For high-speed printers, do not start at maximum speed immediately. First print a temperature and retraction test, because wood-effect PLA is more sensitive to moisture, temperature and travel speed.

🛠️ Printing recommendations

• Print a temperature tower in the 210–235 ℃ range before a large model.
• For a clean surface and attractive wood-like texture, start at 20–60 mm/s.
• If hairs or stringing appear, reduce temperature and speed.
• Dry the filament if it has been stored open for a long time.
• Use 100% fan speed for clean overhangs.
• Tune Z seam alignment to make the seam less visible on decorative models.
• Avoid unnecessary travel moves across the outer wall of the model.
• The Walnut shade looks especially good on prints with wood texture, relief surfaces, sculptural shapes and smooth transitions.

📦 Storage

• Store the spool in a dry place, preferably in a sealed bag or dry box with desiccant.
• Do not leave the filament exposed in a humid room for a long time.
• The plastic spool is convenient for storage, reuse and installation in spool holders.
• If the material starts bubbling, popping or stringing, dry it before printing.
