Photon Mono M7 Max LCD Screen Replacement Guide
If you encounter difficulties while replacing the Photon Mono M7 Max LCD screen, this article will guide you through the correct steps.
1. Tools Required:
- S3.0 Allen key
- Suction cup
2. Disassembly Steps:
Note: Please raise the print cantilever to the highest position for easy replacement.
Step 1: Turn off the device
Before replacing the LCD screen, make sure to turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord to ensure safe operation.
Step 2: Remove the front cover
- Use the S3.0 Allen key to unscrew the fixing screws that hold the front cover of the printer.
- Remove the FPC cable connected to the LCD screen.
Step 3: Remove the LCD screen
- Tear off the anti-scratch film and exposure screen sticker.
- Note: If the suction cup is difficult to pull up the LCD screen, you can drip the degumming agent along the seam of the LCD screen and let it stand for two minutes before trying again.
- Remove the exposure screen and tempered glass. Use the suction cup to stick to the LCD screen and pull it up carefully.
3. Installation Steps:
Step 1: Install tempered glass
- Use double-sided tape and stick it around the upper base plate, then peel off the upper tape layer.
- Tear off the protective film on both sides of the tempered glass, press the edges of the glass with both hands, and place it securely.
Step 2: Install the exposure screen
- Install the exposure screen and remove its protective film.
- Apply the exposure screen sticker.
- Reconnect the exposure screen FPC cable.
Step 3: Install the front cover
Reattach the printer front cover and use the S3.0 Allen key to screw it back into place.
