Description pionext surgical guide resin transparent 0.5 kg

PioNext Surgical Guide Resin Transparent 0.5 kg

PioNext Surgical Guide Resin Transparent 0.5 kg is a transparent light-curing dental resin for 3D printing surgical guides, implant guide plates and dental implant surgical guides. The material is designed for applications where accurate geometry, transparency, dimensional stability, high flexural strength and visual control through the printed guide are important.

The transparent material is especially useful in implant planning workflows because it allows easier visual inspection of guide fit, sleeves, holes, margins and the working area. This helps the laboratory and clinician check the printed guide before it is used in a validated clinical protocol.

The resin fits a digital dental workflow: CBCT / intraoral scanning, CAD implant planning, surgical guide design, 3D printing on an LCD / MSLA / DLP printer, washing, drying, UV post-curing, fit verification and further preparation according to laboratory and clinical requirements.

Important: printed surgical guides should be used only after correct printing, post-processing, fit verification, cleaning, sterilization and validation according to the manufacturer’s instructions, laboratory requirements, local medical regulations and the clinician’s protocol. Do not use a printed device clinically without an approved processing and quality control workflow.

Compatibility with Resin 3D Printers

PioNext Surgical Guide Resin is compatible with LCD, MSLA and DLP 3D printers using 385-405 nm / 405 nm light-curing resin workflows. Before production printing, exposure must be calibrated for the exact printer, layer height, resin temperature, release film condition, LCD screen age and UV module power.

  • Anycubic Photon series: Photon Mono M5s, Photon Mono M7 Pro, Photon DLP D2, Photon Mono, Mono 2, Mono 4, Mono 4K, Mono 4 Ultra, Mono M5, M5s Pro, Mono M7, M7 Max, Mono X, Mono X2, Mono X 6K, Mono X 6Ks, Photon M3, M3 Plus, M3 Premium, M3 Max, Photon Ultra.
  • PioNext / PioCreat dental printers: DJ-89Plus, C01, D136, D150, D158, D160, D190 and other dental LCD/DLP systems.
  • Creality HALOT: Halot-R6, Halot-Sky, Halot Mage S and other compatible models after calibration.
  • Elegoo: Saturn 3 Ultra, Saturn 4 Ultra, Mars and other LCD/MSLA printers after exposure calibration.
  • Phrozen: Sonic mini 8K S, Sonic Mighty Revo, Sonic Mega 8K S and other compatible models.

Not suitable for FDM / FFF 3D printers because this is a liquid photopolymer resin, not a plastic filament.

Recommended Printing Parameters

Exact parameters depend on the printer model, UV module power, layer height, resin temperature, guide geometry, build plate contact area and release film condition. Before production printing surgical guides, always run an exposure test and verify fit accuracy.

Parameter Recommendation
Layer thickness 0.05 mm for accurate surgical guides
Normal exposure Adjust by exposure test for the specific LCD / MSLA / DLP printer
Bottom exposure Adjust according to build plate adhesion, base area and guide design
Lift speed Adjust according to resin viscosity, layer area and printer capability
Washing Absolute ethanol or isopropyl alcohol according to TDS
Post-curing After washing and complete drying; curing mode depends on the laboratory protocol

Recommended Starting Print Settings for Anycubic

The table below provides TDS starting parameters for PioNext Surgical Guide Resin. These values do not replace exposure testing or accuracy control. Before manufacturing surgical guides for clinical use, always verify fit, geometry, holes, sleeves and post-processing quality.

Anycubic Model Layer Thickness Bottom Exposure Time Normal Exposure Time Lift Speed
Anycubic Photon Mono M5s 0.05 mm 70 s 4.8 s 5 mm/s
Anycubic M7 Pro 0.05 mm 70 s 3.3 s 7 mm/s
Anycubic DLP D2 0.05 mm 40 s 6.0 s 5 mm/s

Recommendation: if the guide is soft, tacky or lacks sharp detail, increase normal exposure in small steps. If holes become undersized, edges are overcured or fit accuracy decreases, reduce exposure and repeat the test.

Post-Processing

  1. Shake the bottle well before printing to evenly distribute resin components.
  2. Check the resin vat, release film and build platform surface.
  3. Set up the print profile and run an exposure test.
  4. After printing, carefully remove the guide from the build platform.
  5. Wash the printed device in absolute ethanol or isopropyl alcohol.
  6. Avoid excessive high-power or high-frequency ultrasonic cleaning to protect surface details.
  7. Dry the device completely before final UV polymerization.
  8. Post-cure according to the laboratory protocol.
  9. Check fit, transparency, guide channels, holes, margins and geometry.
  10. Prepare the device for the clinical protocol only according to the manufacturer’s instructions and medical requirements.

Safety and Storage

  • Use nitrile gloves and avoid skin contact with uncured resin.
  • Use eye protection when pouring resin, printing and cleaning devices.
  • Work in a well-ventilated area.
  • In case of eye contact, immediately rinse with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention.
  • In case of skin contact, wash the area with soap and water and remove contaminated clothing.
  • Store below 25 ℃, tightly closed, in a cool and dark place.
  • Do not leave resin under direct sunlight or ordinary light for a long time because the material is sensitive to visible light.
  • Dispose of uncured resin residues, wipes and contaminated materials according to local rules after full UV curing.
