Product Description
The resin vat is the working container that holds liquid photopolymer resin during printing. A transparent NFEP release film forms the bottom of the vat, allowing UV exposure through the film while providing the release surface required for each cured layer.
The Photon P1 supports dynamic printing control and resin temperature management. Maintaining an appropriate resin temperature can be particularly useful when printing with higher-viscosity photopolymer materials because resin viscosity affects material flow and refill behavior between layers.
An additional resin vat is also useful when regularly switching between different resin types or colors. Separate vats can be dedicated to standard, ABS-like, dental, engineering, high-temperature or other specialized photopolymer resins.
Pre-installed NFEP Release Film
The vat comes with a pre-installed NFEP release film. The NFEP film forms the transparent bottom of the resin tank and provides the release interface between the cured resin layer and the vat.
The release film should be inspected regularly. Do not continue printing if the film has deep scratches, punctures, severe clouding, wrinkles or significant deformation.
