Photon P1 Dual Ring Release Film is an original reusable system for mounting replaceable FEP film in the resin vat of the Anycubic Photon P1.
The Dual Ring design consists of two reusable metal frame halves. The FEP film is positioned and clamped between these two metal components.
The metal Dual Ring frame is reusable. When the film becomes worn or damaged, the metal frame does not need to be discarded. The two halves can be disassembled, cleaned and reused with a new compatible FEP or NFEP film.
An NFEP film is installed by default. The factory-installed NFEP film is 0.15 mm thick and provides 95% light transmittance.

What Does Dual Ring Mean?
Dual Ring refers to the reusable two-piece metal frame construction. It does not refer to a special type of FEP film.

NFEP Film Installed by Default

Once the original NFEP film is worn, the Dual Ring metal frame can be reused with a compatible replacement FEP or NFEP film.

Reusable Dual Ring Design
The Dual Ring system uses two metal components to clamp the FEP film securely in position. When the installed film reaches the end of its service life, the metal components can remain in use.
The frame can be disassembled, the old film removed and a new compatible FEP or NFEP film installed.
When to Replace the FEP Film
- Deep scratches are visible.
- The film has been punctured.
