NFEP Release Film for Anycubic Photon P1 Dual Resin Vat 6pcs

Product Description

Release Film 6pcs for Dual Resin Vat is a set of original NFEP release films for the dual resin vat of the Anycubic Photon P1 resin 3D printer. The films are designed for the Photon P1 Dual-Color / Dual-Material configuration and are used with the Anycubic Dual Material Print Kit.

The NFEP film forms the transparent bottom of the resin vat. UV light passes through the film during exposure, and each cured layer separates from its surface as the build platform moves. Film condition directly affects layer separation, model accuracy and resin-vat sealing.

The package contains 6 replacement films, providing a practical supply for routine maintenance of the Photon P1 dual resin vat, particularly when the printer is frequently used with two colors or two different resin materials.

Release Film Purpose

The NFEP film is installed at the bottom of the dual resin vat and separates liquid photopolymer resin from the printer exposure screen. It must remain transparent, even and leak-free.

During printing, each layer is formed against the film and then separates as the build platform moves. A damaged, cloudy or deformed film may cause unstable layer separation, surface defects and resin leakage.

Compatibility

This film is intended exclusively for the Anycubic Photon P1 Dual-Color / Dual-Material resin vat included with the Anycubic Dual Material Print Kit.

Check the installed resin-vat configuration before ordering. Anycubic lists several Photon P1 release-film versions separately:

  • Photon P1 Integrated Release Film — for the standard integrated resin vat.
  • Photon P1 Dual Ring Release Film — for the Dual Ring configuration.
  • Photon P1 Dual-Color / Dual-Material Release Film — for the dual resin vat.
  • Photon P1 Max Release Film — for the Anycubic Photon P1 Max.

These versions have different configurations and should not be treated as interchangeable.

Not an LCD Screen Protector

The Release Film for Dual Resin Vat is the working separation layer of the resin vat. It directly contacts photopolymer resin and participates in the separation of every printed layer.

It should not be confused with an LCD screen protector or Wave Release Film. These are different printer components with different functions.

  • NFEP Release Film — transparent bottom of the dual resin vat.
  • LCD screen protector — protects the surface of the exposure screen.
  • Wave Release Film — a separate Photon P1 component located below the resin vat.

When Replacement Is Needed

  • Deep scratches are visible on the surface.
  • The film has been punctured, cut or torn.
  • The film has become cloudy and transmits less UV light.
  • Creases, dents or significant deformation are present.
  • Cured resin particles cannot be removed safely.
  • There are signs of resin leakage.
  • Layer separation failures become frequent despite correct settings.
  • The surface is no longer even after extended use.
  • The film has been damaged by a scraper or another tool.

A punctured or leaking film must be replaced immediately. Continuing to print may allow resin to reach the printer components and exposure screen.

Installation Recommendations

  • Finish the active print job.
  • Switch off the Anycubic Photon P1 and disconnect the power cable.
  • Remove the build platform.
  • Carefully remove the dual resin vat.
  • Drain the remaining resin from each compartment through separate filters.
  • Remove all liquid and cured resin from the vat.
  • Remove the damaged film according to the official Anycubic guide.
  • Do not touch the working surface of the new film with metal tools.
  • Remove dust, resin particles and contamination from the mounting surface.
  • Install the new NFEP film evenly without creases or misalignment.
  • Tighten all fasteners evenly.
  • Test the dual vat for leaks before adding a large quantity of resin.

Inspection After Installation

  • Confirm that the film is installed evenly.
  • Check for creases, scratches or other damage.
  • Inspect the edges and mounting areas.
  • Add a small amount of resin and check the vat for leakage.
  • Install the vat in the printer only after confirming that it is sealed.
  • Run a small test print before beginning a full production job.

Care Recommendations

  • Do not use a metal scraper on the film.
  • Do not press sharp objects against the surface.
  • Inspect both compartments before every print.
  • Remove cured debris after every failed print.
  • Prevent hard particles from becoming trapped between the platform and film.
  • Do not leave photopolymer resin in direct sunlight.
  • Clean the appropriate compartment thoroughly when changing materials.
  • Use separate filters and containers for different resins.
  • Regularly inspect the film for clouding, deformation and leakage.

Storage Recommendations

  • Store unused films in their original packaging.
  • Protect them from dust, dirt and direct sunlight.
  • Do not fold or sharply bend the films.
  • Do not place heavy objects on the package.
  • Do not touch the working surface with dirty or oily hands.
  • Store the package in a dry place away from heat sources.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this film compatible with the Anycubic Photon P1?

Yes, but only with the Photon P1 Dual-Color / Dual-Material resin vat.

Is it compatible with the standard Photon P1 resin vat?

No. The standard resin vat requires the separate Photon P1 Integrated Release Film.

Can it be used with the Dual Material Print Kit?

Yes. It is designed for the dual resin vat included with the Anycubic Dual Material Print Kit.

How many films are included?

The package contains six replacement NFEP films.

What is the film thickness?

The officially specified thickness is 0.15 mm.

What is the light transmittance?

The officially specified light transmittance is 95%.

Is the film compatible with the Photon P1 Max?

No. Anycubic provides a separate release-film version for the Photon P1 Max.

Can it replace the Dual Ring Release Film?

No. The Dual Ring Release Film and Dual-Color / Dual-Material Release Film are different configurations.

Is this an LCD screen protector?

No. It is a working NFEP release film installed at the bottom of the dual resin vat.

Are new printing settings required after replacement?

When replacing the film with an original component of the same type, existing resin profiles can normally be retained. A test print is recommended after installation.

Can printing continue with a small scratch?

A minor surface mark should be monitored. Replace the film if the scratch is deep, the surface is deformed or there is any risk of leakage.

Why Choose the Original Release Film

The original NFEP release film restores the working condition of the Anycubic Photon P1 dual resin vat and maintains compatibility with the printer’s dual-color and dual-material configuration.

The six-piece package is suitable for routine maintenance, professional operation and maintaining a supply of replacement consumables. Its 0.15 mm thickness and 95% light transmittance match the official Anycubic specifications.
