Anycubic High Clear Resin 1 kg

💎 Anycubic High Clear Resin 1 kg is a high-transparency photopolymer resin for LCD, MSLA and DLP 3D printers using 365-405 nm UV curing. It is designed for clear parts, display models, visual prototypes, architectural elements, lighting components and other prints where optical clarity, clean surface quality and stable dimensional accuracy are important.

The resin uses a special low-refractive-index formula with up to 92% light transmission. With correct printing, cleaning, thin clear coating and UV post-curing, printed parts can achieve a glass-like transparent appearance. Final clarity depends not only on the resin itself, but also on layer height, exposure accuracy, bubble control, vat cleanliness, washing quality and post-processing.

✅ Resin 3D Printer Compatibility

Anycubic High Clear Resin is compatible with LCD, MSLA and DLP resin 3D printers using 365-405 nm / 405 nm UV curing. It works best with Anycubic Photon series printers and can also be used with compatible Elegoo Mars, Elegoo Saturn, Elegoo Jupiter, Phrozen Sonic, Creality HALOT, Uniformation GK, Nova3D, Peopoly and other resin printers after exposure calibration.

Important: this resin is not suitable for FDM/FFF filament 3D printers. Compatibility depends on wavelength, light power, FEP, NFEP or ACF film condition, layer height, resin temperature, vat cleanliness and a correctly calibrated resin profile.

🔧 Tips for Printing Clear Models

  • Shake the bottle thoroughly before use to mix all resin components evenly.
  • Clean the resin vat, build plate and release film from residues of other resins to avoid color contamination.
  • Do not pour a large amount of cold resin directly into the vat during printing, as temperature affects viscosity, exposure and transparency.
  • High Clear Resin usually requires longer exposure than standard resin.
  • For every 5 ℃ temperature drop, the first test exposure can be increased by about 0.5 s.
  • To improve transparency, apply a thin layer of High Clear Resin over visible layer lines after washing.
  • After applying the clear layer, UV cure for about 2 minutes and repeat if required.
  • For the best optical result, avoid bubbles, excessive washing, contaminated IPA and over-drying before final finishing.

🧼 Cleaning and Post-Processing

  1. Remove the model from the build plate after printing.
  2. Wash the model in 95% IPA for at least 3 minutes.
  3. Let the surface drain and partially dry.
  4. For maximum transparency, apply a thin layer of High Clear Resin over visible layer lines.
  5. UV cure the model in a Wash & Cure machine or another curing station.
  6. Repeat thin coating and curing if a clearer finish is required.

🛡️ Safety Precautions

Liquid photopolymer resin requires careful handling. Always wear nitrile gloves, eye or face protection and work in a well-ventilated area. Avoid skin and eye contact, do not inhale vapors and prevent uncured resin from entering the environment. Keep away from children, pets and pregnant women. Resin waste must be fully UV-cured before disposal.

❓ FAQs

Is Anycubic High Clear Resin suitable for highly transparent models?

Yes. This resin is designed for transparent 3D printing. However, the final optical clarity depends on exposure settings, layer height, cleaning quality, bubble control and post-processing.

Why does a clear model look cloudy?

Common reasons include visible layer lines, incorrect exposure, contaminated IPA, uncured resin residue, air bubbles, uneven UV curing or missing final clear coating.

Should I apply an additional resin layer after printing?

For better transparency, it is recommended to apply a thin layer of High Clear Resin to the model surface to smooth visible layer lines, then UV cure it.

Can I use clear varnish instead of resin coating?

Yes. Clear varnish or coating is often used for transparent prints. With High Clear Resin, a thin layer of the same resin plus proper UV curing can also produce a strong clear effect.

Is this resin beginner-friendly?

Yes, but transparent resin is more demanding than standard gray or white resin. For best results, exposure testing and careful post-processing are recommended.

What printing temperature is recommended?

The recommended print temperature is 20-50 ℃, while the print environment should be 20-40 ℃. Parameters are typically based on around 25 ℃.

What should I use for cleaning?

95% IPA is recommended. Washing should last at least 3 minutes, but excessively long soaking may affect surface quality.

Is this resin suitable for FDM printers?

No. Anycubic High Clear Resin is made only for LCD, MSLA and DLP resin 3D printers. FDM printers use plastic filament, not liquid photopolymer resin.
